Nadia and Carol
Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12 November 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej or now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first person in history to score a 10 for competing in the Olympics. Bela Karrolyi was the Romanian gymnastics instructor, who was later Comaneci's coach and first became aware of Comaneci at the age of six. The first time she competed at the national junior championships of 1969 and finished 13th. She took the title in the year 1970. Three gold medals were awarded in her very first contest, a junior pre-Olympic meet in 1972, which was a communist countries. In 1973 and 1974, she became the junior all-round champion. When she made her first senior competition in 1975, she beat Russian Lyudmila Turkishcheva. She was the five-time European champ winning four golds and one argent. In 1976, she became the first person in the world to use a backwards-double salto to dismount from parallel bars. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. In her teens she started appearing on travelling shows such as Ice Capades as a skater together with her younger sister Nina Wayne. Carol Marie Wayne born 6 September 1942 in Chicago Illinois US. Carol began her career in entertainment during her teenage years. She began her career as figure skater, performing alongside her younger sister Nina Wayne as part of the shows that traveled around named Ice Capades. The shows featured ice skating performances that were accompanied by theatrical music.
